LIFT 1983

Despite a lack of financial support externally due to organisations refusal to support 'foreign work', LIFT 1983 presented 21 companies from Great Britain (England and Wales) and Europe (Italy, France, Holland, Spain), Canada, India, Jamaica, Japan, Sierra Leone and the U.S.A.

The Raising of the Titanic, this event was to prove memorable in capturing a moment in time, both in London’s alternative theatre history and in the fast-vanishing world of traditional Docklands.
